Welcome to The Flights Guru.
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website, travel services, booking platforms, customer support channels, vacation packages, and all travel-related products and services offered by The Flights Guru. By accessing our website, requesting quotations, making travel inquiries, completing bookings, or using any services provided through The Flights Guru, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms," "Agreement") carefully before accessing, browsing, or using any services, interactive modules, or booking engines provided on our Platform. By accessing or using this Platform, booking any travel products, or interacting with our human travel specialists via phone, email, or WhatsApp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unreservedly agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to all or any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must immediately discontinue using this Platform and refrain from making any travel reservations through our services.
We reserve the absolute right, at our sole discretion, to alter, modify, amend, add, or remove portions of these Terms and Conditions at any time without any prior written notice to you. It is your sole responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of changes explicitly implies that you accept and agree to the revisions.
By using this Platform, you declare and warrant that:
The User explicitly acknowledges that The Flights Guru acts solely in the capacity of a travel intermediary or facilitator (an "agent"). We provide a digital marketplace and human consultancy network that connects users with primary third-party travel service providers, including but not limited to airlines, consolidators, hotel chains, resort properties, insurance underwriters, cruise lines, and local destination management companies (collectively referred to as "Travel Providers").
Because we do not own, manage, operate, or control any aircraft, hotel rooms, cruise cabins, or transport vehicles, The Flights Guru shall not be held liable or legally responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches, or negligence of any such third-party Travel Providers. Any structural issues regarding your travel—including but not limited to flight delays, schedule changes, cancellations, structural overbookings, mechanical breakdowns, lost or damaged baggage, service downgrades, strike actions, or sudden hotel insolvency—fall strictly under the domain of the respective Travel Provider's Contract of Carriage and internal service terms. Your legal remedy in all such events lies directly and solely with the primary Travel Provider, not with us.
When booking international or domestic flights, the User bears total responsibility for ensuring that the names of all passengers are entered exactly as they appear on their government-issued passports or national identity cards. Airlines maintain strict zero-tolerance policies regarding name discrepancies. Most global carriers do not permit name changes once a Passenger Name Record (PNR) is generated or an e-ticket is issued. Any minor spelling correction requested post-ticketing is subject to the sole approval of the respective airline and will attract substantial name-correction penalties, or may require the complete cancellation and re-booking of the ticket at current market fares. The Flights Guru accepts zero financial liability for tickets rendered void due to incorrect spelling inputs provided by the User.
Users must not create duplicate bookings across different platforms or within our system for the same passenger on identical or overlapping travel dates. Airlines routinely run automated screening algorithms that detect duplicate PNRs. When detected, the airline reserves the right to automatically cancel all matching bookings without prior notice, often retaining the payment as a penalty. We are not responsible for cancellations resulting from duplicate bookings.
Airlines reserve the right to alter flight times, change flight numbers, switch aircraft types, or cancel routes due to operational demands, weather conditions, or regulatory shifts. While The Flights Guru makes every reasonable effort to notify you of major schedule modifications via email or text alert, the ultimate responsibility rests with the Passenger to cross-check and re-confirm their flight status directly with the operating airline at least 24 to 72 hours prior to scheduled departure. We are not liable for any missed connections or consequential losses resulting from an airline's schedule change.
For all international travel booked through our Platform, passports must be valid for at least six (6) months from your scheduled date of return to India or your home country. Certain destinations also mandate that your passport contain at least two to four blank pages for immigration entry/exit stamps. It is your absolute duty to verify that your passport is in good physical condition; immigration boards routinely deny boarding to travelers with frayed, torn, or water-damaged travel documents.
The Flights Guru does not guarantee visa approvals, nor do we determine entry eligibility for foreign countries. The Passenger is solely and exclusively responsible for obtaining all necessary visas, electronic travel authorizations (eTAs), visa-on-arrival pre-registrations, and transit visas required for their entire journey. Please note that many flight itineraries feature multi-city layovers or airport changes (e.g., changing from Heathrow to Gatwick in London, or stopping within the Schengen Zone) that legally require a transit visa, even if you do not plan to exit the airport terminal. If you are denied boarding by an airline or turned back at a foreign border due to insufficient visa documentation, all associated cancellation costs, return flight expenses, and legal penalties remain entirely your own responsibility.
You must ensure that you comply fully with the health and medical entry parameters mandated by your destination and transit countries. This includes securing valid yellow fever vaccination certificates, polio drops, or specific medical declarations if required.
All flight fares, hotel tariffs, and holiday package rates displayed on our India Platform are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Quotes provided by our travel specialists include base fares, operational fees, fuel surcharges, and applicable governmental taxes. However, look-up rates change dynamically in real-time based on live airline inventory seating classes; a fare is never guaranteed until full payment is successfully processed and the e-ticket is formally generated.
To defend against internet fraud and unauthorized card use, we employ secure, encrypted payment processing mechanisms. We reserve the absolute right to cancel any transaction or hold a booking if our security filters flag a payment as high-risk. In such scenarios, our verification team may request that you provide additional verification data (such as proof of card ownership or an authorization code) before we issue your ticket.
All transactions executed on our Platform are subject to the prevailing tax laws of India.
All cancellations, date changes, route modifications, and cabin upgrades are strictly subject to the Fare Rules and Terms of Service of the respective Travel Provider. Some promotional, economy, or consolidator tickets are explicitly flagged as non-refundable and non-changeable by the airline from the moment of purchase.
In addition to the specific cancellation penalties, date-change fees, and fare differences levied directly by the airlines or hotels, The Flights Guru charges a standardized, non-refundable administrative service fee per passenger for processing any post-booking modifications or cancellations. Our service charges are independent of supplier policies and are deducted automatically from any refund amount received from the carrier.
When a booking is canceled and a refund is authorized under the carrier's fare rules, the processing chain functions as follows:
Please note that refund timelines vary significantly depending on airline processing windows. While domestic cancellations are generally completed within 7 to 14 business days, international flight refunds can take between 30 to 90 days to clear through global clearinghouses. The Flights Guru shall not be held liable for operational delays on the part of the airline's finance desks. All convenience fees and processing gateway charges paid at the time of booking are strictly non-refundable.
Star ratings displayed on our Platform serve as generalized, international benchmarks and do not always represent a uniform standard of quality. Room layouts, bedding configurations (e.g., King size vs. Twin beds), and amenity access are determined entirely by the resort management and are subject to availability at the time of check-in.
Your upfront booking payment covers room tariffs and specific meal plans as explicitly stated on your booking voucher. It does not include incidental charges incurred during your stay, such as room service, mini-bar consumption, laundry fees, spa services, or telephone calls.
Furthermore, several global destinations levy mandatory local tourist taxes, city development fees, or eco-resort surcharges that must be paid directly by the guest at the hotel reception desk during check-in or checkout. These fees cannot be prepaid through our Platform.
Most standard hotels require guests to present a valid international credit card or provide a cash deposit upon check-in to cover potential incidental damages. The Company has no control over these internal hotel policies.
While we make every effort to execute our customized holiday and honeymoon packages exactly as detailed in your itinerary, local conditions—such as extreme weather, road blockages, political demonstrations, monument closures, or sudden changes in local flight schedules—may require adjustments. We reserve the right to make minor route adjustments or substitute hotels with properties of an equivalent standard without prior notice. Such changes do not entitle the User to a refund or compensation.
If your custom itinerary includes activities like scuba diving, skydiving, hot air ballooning, deep-sea trekking, or safari drives, you acknowledge that these activities carry inherent physical risks. The Flights Guru accepts no liability for personal injury, illness, property damage, or wrongful death resulting from your participation in high-risk recreational activities. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically fit to participate and that you hold comprehensive personal travel insurance covering such activities.
The Flights Guru strongly advises all travelers to purchase a comprehensive international travel insurance policy prior to departure. A robust insurance policy should ideally cover:
We act merely as an insurance referral platform or facilitator. All insurance claims must be filed directly with the underwriting insurance firm, and the processing of claims remains subject to the insurer's terms and conditions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Flights Guru, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to or use of this Platform. This includes any damages resulting from computer viruses, data deletions, system downtime, booking delays, or travel interruptions, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall our total aggregate financial liability to a User for any claim arising from a specific booking exceed the total administrative service fee actually earned by The Flights Guru for processing that specific transaction.
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Flights Guru, its parent corporate groups, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, and employees from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature—including reasonable legal and accounting fees—brought by third parties as a result of:
The Flights Guru shall not be deemed to be in breach of contract or held legally liable for any failure, delay, disruption, or non-performance of its travel services if such event is caused by a Force Majeure event. A Force Majeure event includes any event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
During a Force Majeure event, our obligation to fulfill travel arrangements is suspended. Refunds in such cases remain strictly contingent upon whether the operating airlines or hotels release the associated funds back to us. Any processing or service fees charged by our agency remain non-refundable.
These Terms and Conditions, your relationship with the Platform, and all claims or disputes arising out of your travel bookings shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
You and the Company explicitly agree that any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, the breach thereof, or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts situated in New Delhi, India. You voluntarily waive any objections to the exercise of personal jurisdiction or venue in such courts on the grounds of inconvenient forum.
If any specific provision of this Agreement is determined by an Indian court or competent judicial authority to be invalid, illegal, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed severed from the remaining contract. The invalidity of that specific clause shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce or exercise any right or provision of these Terms at any time does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision in the future. Any waiver of a right under these Terms must be provided to you in writing by an authorized legal representative of the Company to be valid.
These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire, complete, and exclusive legal agreement between you and The Flights Guru regarding your use of our Platform and services. This agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, or understandings, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and us.
